A lot of life could fit in parenthesis.

"So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun. If you want to get more out of life, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter style of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty."

Why do dogs bark at other dogs. What are they saying that we cant hear? Are they just making noise? There is so much more than we could ever know. Our brains have become too developed to understand. Which doesn’t makes sense, but it does to me.

A lot of life could fit in parenthesis.

I have a strange craving for Reese’s Puff Cereal. I may need to take a trip to the store.

Worry and time have an inverse relationship.

I could place my palm forward and feel the vibrations from his words.

The soundtrack of my life would be slow piano jingles with occasional banjo riffs peppered in for flavor and zest.  Maybe sometimes some anonymous chorus would clap its hands and chant inspirational nonsense in my ear, and I would feel better. And harmonicas…yeah.

We shared the smile of recognizing ourselves in each other.

Whatever else it brings, whatever it is- it is mine.

There was no way around it. We could not climb over it, or walk until we found its edge.

I am all about the little things again.

I have so many tabs open, I am getting confused.

It seems like every time you think you have something figured out, it becomes something else.

I love clean sheets and days when I have nothing to do. Orchids and lilies are my favorite flowers, although cookie flowers are quite amazing too. Especially with milk.

I am all over the place when I sit down and try to write. Because there are so many things all day long that happen that I need to write about. But it never comes out right. Maybe it's for the best.

“I have lived through much, and now I think I have found what is needed for happiness. A quiet secluded life in the country, with the possibility of being useful to people to whom it is easy to do good, and who are not accustomed to have it done to them; then work which one hopes may be of some use; then rest, nature, books , music, love for one's neighbor - such is my idea of happiness. And then, on top of all that, you for a mate, and children, perhaps - what more can the heart of a man desire?" ..."

I have much more to write. But it’s all in my head, and I just want to hold it there for awhile.
