Where did the summer go?

Why was I awake at 5:45am? I did not sleep well last night.

The other night I had a dream that I was on the reality show “Real World”, except it was a challenge show…and every week someone got kicked out of the house. This is how they decided: They chose something that belonged to you, it could be an article of clothing or anything. If the judges thought it was tacky they would not right your name on the tag, and that meant that you were eliminated.

I wasn’t eliminated, but one week I had two articles of clothing in the bag. One said “Kristen” the other said “Kristen...but we really had to deliberate about this one”.

One girl got kicked out of the house because she had a hamster bra. And by this I mean each cup was in fact, a hamster face.

You would think as I get older I would start having more realistic expectations of people.

I’ve become sped up and negative. My insecurity is only magnified and in turn my bitch level increases. I need to learn to change that defense mechanism… but I think the reason I don’t even though now I’ve identified it is because the reason it is my defense mechanism is because its how I feel… and acting the opposite would be incredibly fake and I feel like everyone could see right through it. What does that sinking feeling say about me? Human nature / instinct? I don’t know. But I hate that feeling.

P.S. Nickelodeon, Ke$ha was not an appropriate guest star for a children's television show. For one if not many of the following reasons:

1.  Skank does not necessarily mean talent

2. Who spells their name with a dollar sign?

3. She is not setting a good example to those pre-pubescent kids in need of hygiene skills.

I won’t disappoint you if you know me as a fallible human being with love to give and not much practice giving it consistently but with a commitment to keep practicing. I can only be loved with all of my faults, my efforts to amend them, and my failures to amend them.

 I'm not super impressed with my horoscope this week. I needed something with a laugh in it Rob Brezny, but I suppose this was to be expected given my current state.

So, I’ve been thinking, maybe a mobile would help me sleep better. You know, distract me from my thoughts long enough to clear my brain enough to fall asleep. I’ve been shopping around and here are my top three:
